About

Angsa Robotics develops autonomous robots that use artificial intelligence to detect and remove trash from green and gravel surfaces, offering a cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and efficient solution for landscape maintenance. The robot uses AI-based waste recognition to distinguish between trash and other objects, collecting only what should be removed without damaging the underlying surface or nature. Once placed on site, the robot operates a full shift of up to 8 hours autonomously without supervision, equipped with a camera system for obstacle detection that safely navigates around people and objects. The Angsa app provides data insights on trash types and quantities collected by location, supports GIS integration for defining cleaning areas via Google Maps or custom data, and offers real-time monitoring of robot progress, battery status, and position. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Germany, Angsa Robotics has raised $2.7 million in seed funding from Husqvarna Group and ESA BIC Bavaria and Northern Germany. The robot cleans green spaces such as parks and swimming pools as well as gray surfaces including cobblestone and gravel, providing a smarter and more precise alternative to conventional street cleaning machines.
