About

Arcium develops a parallelized confidential computing network that enables trustless, verifiable, and efficient confidential computation for AI, blockchain, and decentralized applications using Secure Multi-Party Computation (MPC) running across a decentralized network. The platform's core innovation is the MPC eXecution Environment (MXE), which combines Multiparty Computation, Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), and Zero-Knowledge Proofs to enable confidential computations where inputs are split into secret shares across independent nodes that compute together, returning verifiable results without any single node seeing the data. Arcium is native to Solana and provides confidential DeFi (dark pools and settlement over confidential order flow), confidential transfers (C-SPL token standard for confidential balances and amounts), and confidential AI through Arcium Blackthorn for encrypted inference and training. The network is powered by the token for network fees, staking, computation scheduling, and governance, with stake-weighted node selection incentivizing throughput optimization. Developers write confidential programs in Arcis, a Rust DSL, and the network features maliciously secure MPC with cheater detection for scalable, correct execution. Arcium is chain-agnostic and requires an underlying blockchain for data availability and state consensus. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, Arcium has raised approximately $11 million at the Series A stage from investors including Greenfield Capital, Coinbase, LongHash, Heartcore Capital, Staking Facilities, and L2 Iterative Ventures.
