About

Astrome Technologies is a deep-tech company specializing in next-generation wireless terrestrial and satellite communications products and solutions that connect Earth and Space. The company has developed a patented flat-panel antenna with electronic beamsteering, a fully customizable software-defined modem, and smart algorithms enabling resilient connectivity across Ground, Air, Ocean, and Space (LEO/MEO/GEO). Astrome's terrestrial product line includes GigaMesh, an E-band wireless backhaul solution providing high-speed 5G backhaul and fiber-like wireless connectivity using proven millimeter-wave radios for rural and urban broadband infrastructure. Its space product line includes GigaSat (flat-panel satellite antenna terminal), OrbiThru (software-defined customizable modem), Astream (S, X, and K-band satellite transceivers and antennas), AstraLink (S/Ka/V-band inter-satellite links), CubeInt (signal intelligence from space), SpaceNet (payloads for satellite communication networks), and SBaaS (Satellite Bus as a Service). Astrome provides end-to-end solutions including integrated inter-satellite link networks connecting satellites to satellites and ground for seamless data relay and global coverage, and total connectivity from orbit to ground pairing high-throughput satellite communication modules with SDR-based ground systems and auto-aligning E-band radios. The company has been selected by IN-SPACe to develop an indigenous Satellite Bus as a Service platform and won the Startup World Cup India Chapter at IMC 2025. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Bangalore, India, Astrome has raised approximately $16.4 million in a Series A round backed by the Indian Institute of Science, ManSat, Startup Karnataka, Integra Micro Systems, GrayCell Ventures, Impact Collective, ARTPARK, Indian Angel Network, Urania, EvoNexus, and others.
