About
Augmentus Robotics is a robotics software company developing a no-code robot programming platform for high-mix, high-variability manufacturing. The platform enables operators to program industrial robots using point-and-click interfaces and 3D perception, eliminating the need for manual teaching or robotics specialists. Augmentus offers two product tiers: Standard, which provides automated toolpath generation (AutoGen), offline simulation with cycle-time estimation, and robot script output for ABB, FANUC, KUKA, and other major brands; and Pro, which adds high-accuracy 3D scanning hardware, vision-guided localization with automatic path correction (AutoAlign), inline inspection, and ML-based defect detection. The platform supports applications including thermal spraying, grit blasting, shot peening, sanding and buffing, grinding, dispensing, and welding (arc, laser, and cladding). Key differentiators include the ability to scan actual workpieces and generate collision-free motion that adapts to part deviations, reducing downtime between part changeovers and minimizing rejects. The system works across major robot brands with a single workflow. Founded in 2019 with offices in Pflugerville, Texas, and Singapore, the company has raised approximately $16 million in Series A funding. Investors include Cocoon Capital, Sierra Ventures, Woori Ventures Partners, EDBI, Applied Materials, StartupX, and Gogrow.
