Bowintec is a joint venture established by Boyuan Capital, the investment platform under the Bosch Group, and Galbot, a leading Chinese company in embodied AI. The company is dedicated to advancing the industrial application of embodied AI in manufacturing, addressing the limitations of traditional automation such as rigidity, weak adaptability, and high migration costs. With a co-creation incubation approach, Bowintec integrates Bosch's global manufacturing expertise and industrial resources with Galbot's technological strengths in dexterous robotics and general-purpose large models. The company focuses on deploying dexterous robots in tasks such as loading and unloading, assembly, and quality inspection, particularly in fine manual processes and complex manufacturing scenarios. Its mission is to help factories transition from automation to intelligence, enhancing flexibility and resilience in the manufacturing industry. Founded in 2025 and headquartered in Shanghai, China, Bowintec has raised nearly RMB 300 million in Pre-A financing, with backing from investors including Yuanhe Chenkun, Boyuan Capital, Robert Bosch Venture Capital, Yuanhe Holdings, and Jingu Capital. The company has also established a strategic partnership with United Automotive Electronic Systems to jointly create an embodied intelligence robot joint laboratory called RoboFab, accelerating the development and deployment of industrial embodied AI solutions for real-world manufacturing environments.
