Bettani Farms has also acquired three plant-based food brands: Stockeld Dreamery (fermented protein cream cheeses used by iconic NYC and Philadelphia bagel shops), NUMU (protein-infused dairy-free mozzarella used by leading retailer pizza bars and NYC pizzerias), and Hungry Planet (plant protein range for various meal applications). The company targets foodservice operators, distributors, CPG manufacturers, and retailers. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Berkeley, California, the company has raised approximately $28 million in seed funding from investors including Climate Capital, Manta Ray Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, Prelude Ventures, Artis Ventures, Index Ventures, S2G Investments, Bel Group, At One Ventures, and Global Founders Capital.
