Destinus designs and manufactures unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and defense systems across all speed ranges, from subsonic drones to hydrogen-fueled supersonic and hypersonic demonstrators. The company's current product lineup includes Kryla, a saturation cruise system designed for distributed, high-volume deployment; Hornet Block 1, a subsonic threat interceptor system, and Hornet Block 2, a dual-role interceptor and precision strike system; Ruta, available in three blocks with baseline, extended range, and long-range deep strike capabilities; and Vorexon, a high-speed point-defense interceptor concept. Destinus also manufactures turbines and hydrogen energy infrastructure for storage, refueling, and transportable turbine-based power generation systems. The company operates with a defence-at-industrial-tempo philosophy, focusing on rapid production and deployment cycles for military UAV systems. Destinus has been selected for Stage 2 of the European Defence Agency's Sentinel Strike Challenge and has entered a strategic partnership with Thales to advance counter-UAS, long-range strike, and integrated air defence solutions. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Hengelo, Netherlands, Destinus has raised $29 million in a Seed round backed by Conny & Co, Quiet Capital, Liquid 2 Ventures, One Way Ventures, Cathexis Ventures, ACE Ventures, ACE & Company, CDTI, Commerzbank, Mountain Alliance, minimal vc, TA Ventures, Mountain Partners, and Thornapple River Capital.
