DexMat

DexMat is a manufacturer of Galvorn, an advanced carbon material that delivers a multi-property advantage combining essential conductivity with exceptional strength, light weight, and flexibility. Galvorn achieves 97% of the electrical conductivity of copper weight for weight, is 50x stronger than copper and 15x stronger than steel, weighs 80% less than copper and half the weight of aluminum, is 17% more thermally conductive than copper, is 1000x more flexible than carbon fiber, and is recyclable over and over without losing properties. The material is engineered as a platform material for industrial-scale applications, not an additive or niche component. Galvorn products include fiber tow, twisted yarn, braided yarn, fabric, and film in Galvorn 1000 and 800 grades. Applications include lightweight signal wire and cable, lightweight EMI shielding, and flexible thermoelectric generators. The material serves aerospace and defense for next-generation platforms demanding weight reduction and data transmission, automotive and electrification for EVs needing lighter and more efficient wire and cable, and energy and transmission for grid conductors that carry more and span farther.
