Drone Express, now operating as Dexa, is an autonomous drone logistics company that provides last-mile delivery services to businesses and retailers. The company develops and manufactures autonomous drones designed for package delivery, catering to logistics, retail, and food delivery applications. Dexa is one of only four FAA-certified, fully integrated drone operators and manufacturers in the United States, authorized to operate under a Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate with Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) capabilities. The company aircraft are included on the Secretary of Transportation S-1 List and are designed and manufactured in the USA. Dexa partners with major retailers including Kroger, Papa Johns, and Winsupply to deliver products to local communities, shortening the distance between businesses and consumers with autonomous drone technology. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, the company has raised $15.3 million in seed funding from investors including Venture 53, G2A, and Tech Square Ventures.
