About

Earth Blox operates a cloud and satellite-based location intelligence platform that translates nature and climate risk into financial insights for organizations making capital allocation, risk management, and operational decisions. The platform analyzes environmental impacts and dependencies at the asset level, applies analysis consistently across portfolios to benchmark exposure and reveal patterns, and identifies concentrations and emerging risks to prioritize attention where exposure is greatest. Earth Blox supports compliance reporting frameworks including TNFD (Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures), EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation), and CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), as well as nature-based solutions assessments, supply chain reporting, and insurance risk modeling. The platform delivers results through user-friendly dashboards that bring together insights at transaction, asset, and portfolio level. In a landmark project, Earth Blox collaborated with Lloyds Banking Group to analyze 5.1 million hectares of UK farmland, identifying over 1.2 million hectares with resilience-building potential in the UK's largest nature risk assessment in agriculture. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, Earth Blox has raised approximately $9.8 million in a Series A round backed by Archangels, PXN Ventures, Scottish Enterprise, ESA, and Tech Nation.
