Energiency is a SaaS-based analytics platform that helps industrial manufacturers optimize energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions using data science and artificial intelligence. The platform automatically analyzes data from information systems on the plant floor and provides dashboards for monitoring energy consumption based on production and maintenance conditions. Energiency offers three service tiers: Software for autonomous energy analysis by consolidating and centralizing existing data; Software plus Coach for customized energy analysis of manufacturing processes with expert support; and Software plus Coach plus AI combining artificial and human intelligence for advanced energy consumption analysis. The platform's algorithms provide operational action plans to optimize plant energy usage, with capabilities including real-time monitoring from over 500 data points, energy forecasting, and team responsiveness tools. Clients include ArcelorMittal, SKF, Norske Skog, and DS Smith, with one client saving 150,000 euros on their annual energy bill and DS Smith achieving a 3.9 percent reduction in steam overconsumption. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Rennes, France, the company has raised $8.5M in Series A funding from investors including Encevo, GO CAPITAL, West Web Valley, EIT InnoEnergy, 50 Partners, ISAI, Bpifrance, Arkea Capital, SAP.iO, Le Village by CA, Plant 4.0 Startup Incubator, and Epopée Gestion.
