Genrobotics designs and manufactures AI-driven robotic solutions for sanitation, healthcare, oil and gas, defence, and aerospace sectors. The company's Bandicoot robot replaces manual scavenging in manholes, sewers, pipelines, and treatment plants, with over 300 robots deployed across 21 Indian states. Its Medical and Mobility division develops robotic gait trainers and upper-body rehabilitation systems to help individuals regain mobility and independence. The Oil and Gas division provides robotic systems for online tank cleaning, confined space inspection, and asset monitoring, while the Defence and Aerospace division builds systems for autonomous patrols, reconnaissance, and bomb disposal. The company's R&D hub explores bipedal walking, humanoid and semi-humanoid robotics. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, India, Genrobotics has raised approximately $5.9M in seed funding from investors including Unicorn India Ventures, Zoho, Anand Mahindra Family Trust, Bharat Petroleum, and Seafund.
