About

GridRaster develops a spatial intelligence platform called SPIDER (SPatial Intelligence and Dynamic Extended Reality) that transforms industrial manufacturing, training, and sustainment operations using AI. The platform integrates foundational AI models with customer-specific data and environments to deliver real-time spatial awareness, dynamic task automation, and intelligent services accessible via secure APIs. Key capabilities include 2D/3D segmentation and object detection, spatial localization and real-time tracking, holographic overlay and human-machine interaction, and digital twin generation. SPIDER supports cross-device compatibility with Apple Vision Pro, iOS, Microsoft HoloLens, and Android XR, and is designed with cybersecurity compliance for government and defense applications. The platform enables digital twin creation 10x faster at one-tenth the cost, AR-guided inspection and maintenance workflows, and AI-driven robotic automation for industrial processes. GridRaster serves aerospace and defense, aviation, general manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, and medical and life sciences industries. The company has received multiple defense awards including the US Army xTechSearch 9 Award, the Defense Manufacturing Technology Achievement Award, and a US Air Force STRATFI award. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Mountain View, California, GridRaster has raised approximately $8.6 million from investors including Exfinity Venture Partners, Lumia Capital, MaC Venture Capital, Blackhorn Ventures, and the Alchemist Accelerator.
