About

Holoride develops spatially-aware in-car virtual reality experiences that sync entertainment content to real-time vehicle movement, transforming passive car rides into immersive experiences. The platform uses vehicle motion data including acceleration, braking, and turning to create synchronized virtual experiences, where the virtual world responds to physical car movements. This motion-sync technology also reduces motion sickness by aligning visual input with vestibular sensations. Holoride offers gaming experiences where car movements directly affect gameplay, geospatial audio journeys that respond to location and vehicle movement (including fiction, storytelling, educational content, and meditation), and a continuously growing content library. The platform creates unique experiences on every ride, as driving events change what happens in the virtual world. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Munich, Germany, the company has raised approximately $12 million at the Series B stage.
