About

Hummink is a developer of high-precision capillary printing (HPCAP) technology for micron and sub-micron additive manufacturing of advanced electronics. The company patented technology uses a unique micropen approach with capillary deposition and enabling direct printing of patterns in a single step with unprecedented resolution ranging from 50 micrometers to a few hundred nanometers, with no satellite drops or splashes. The technology adapts to any ink on any substrate with automatic adaptation to topography, supporting applications across semiconductors, displays, luxury goods, biosensors, photonics, and printed electronics. Hummink flagship product, the NAZCA machine, is an all-in-one prototyping system described as the world most advanced fountain pen, offering R&D capabilities, small and mid-volume production, and high-volume production through modular technology integration. The system provides a large process window, limited footprint, and user-friendly operation with low manufacturing costs and high production yield. Hummink collaborates with world-renowned industrial R&D partners including Duke University and Universite Paris-Cite. The company is a spinoff from Institut Pierre-Gilles de Gennes (IPGG) and Ecole Normale Superieure (ENS), CNRS, and PSL University; Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Paris, France, Hummink has raised approximately 8.3 million at the Series A stage with investors including Elaia, KBC Focus Fund, Caphorn, Bpifrance, Beeyond, and Sensinnovat.
