About
Hydraloop develops decentralized greywater recycling systems for homes and buildings that recycle up to 95% of greywater from showers and baths, reducing total fresh water demand by up to 45% daily. The system operates through a three-step process: Collect (greywater from showers and baths is routed through separate pipes), Clean (six biological and physical treatment stages bring water to NSF/ANSI 350R certified quality with no chemicals and no filters to replace), and Reuse (clean water is automatically returned to toilets, washing machines, and gardens). Hydraloop offers two primary recycler models: the H300, a compact system for apartments and smaller homes that recycles up to 360 liters per day for households with one or two bathrooms; and the H600, a full-size system for family homes and multi-bathroom households that recycles up to 720 liters per day and scales via Cascade configurations for commercial projects. The H600 Cascade has been deployed across hospitality (Hotel Rosa), commercial (SC Cambuur stadium), residential (The Mertens Home, The Flats on 4th), project development (Hof Fan Lemmer), and campsite (Kampeer Bosje) applications. Hydraloop has received numerous awards including CES 2020 Best of Innovation across all 20,000+ entries, UN WIPO Global Award 2022, and CES 2023 Innovation Honoree. The system holds global certifications including NSF/ANSI 350R, PIA (EN 16941-2), KIWA, IAPMO, Belgaqua, CE, FCC, and QPS (UL979). Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, Hydraloop has raised $11.4M in Series B funding from investors including AMAVI Capital, Invest-NL, NVNOM, and INVERTR.
