Hygenco Green Energies is a provider of green hydrogen and green ammonia production and distribution solutions, offering a gas-as-a-service model where the company designs, builds, finances, owns, and operates green hydrogen plants. The company uses proprietary simulation technology for plant design optimization and IoT, digital twins, and machine learning for autonomous live operations. Hygenco's modular plant designs are replicable from 1 MW to gigawatt scale, and it was the first in India to build a commercial-scale green hydrogen project, with supplies starting in 2024. The company serves industries including iron and steel, fertilizers, oil refineries, chemicals, glass, food, and pharmaceuticals, as well as petroleum and gas blending, mobility and transport, and power grids. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Gurugram, India, Hygenco has raised approximately $130.4 million at the Series C stage from investors including Neev Fund, Trifecta Capital, IFC, Siemens, and Fullerton Carbon Action Fund.
