About
IdentifySensors develops the Check4 digital diagnostic platform, which uses printed electronic semiconductor biosensors built on graphene-based inks to deliver rapid, high-sensitivity detection of infectious diseases and cancer biomarkers from saliva or blood samples. The platform achieves PCR-level sensitivity for clinically actionable cancer gene mutations in minutes without PCR workflows, amplification, or complex lab processes. For oncology, Check4 directly measures molecular interactions to detect druggable cancer gene mutations starting with EGFR, KRAS, BRAF, and HER2 across major cancer indications, supporting therapy selection, resistance monitoring, and minimal residual disease assessment. The platform is designed as a companion diagnostic with a scalable, cartridge-based system and cloud analytics. In pilot respiratory studies at Indiana Medical Center, clinical samples diluted to 200 gene copies per milliliter yielded 99.9% sensitivity, surpassing the detection limits of most PCR tests. The Check4 SaaS platform consists of a reusable Bluetooth reader, single-use disposable test cartridges containing digital biosensors, a saliva sample collector with Luer Lock syringe, and a mobile app that communicates results to a cloud-based interpretive algorithm, sending test results to users by text or email within minutes. The platform supports remote testing capabilities, enabling patients to test at home and send results to clinicians, businesses to screen attendees, and health agencies to access population health data. IdentifySensors maintains an extensive patent portfolio with over 24 issued patents and 10 pending, initiated FDA regulatory submissions in Q2 2025, and plans commercial introduction in 2026 for both point-of-care and over-the-counter markets.
