IgGenix is a clinical-stage antibody discovery and development company with a mission to solve allergies and other immunological diseases, empowering people to live life without the constant fear of a life-threatening allergic reaction. The company leverages its proprietary SEQ SIFTER single-cell RNA-sequencing-based discovery platform to capture extremely rare human B cells that produce IgE antibodies directly from patient blood, then isolates and re-engineers fully human, high-affinity, allergen-specific IgG antibodies designed to block and prevent the allergic cascade. By targeting common immunodominant antigens and their most immunodominant epitopes across patients, IgGenix intends to treat both pediatric and adult populations. The company lead candidate IGNX001 is a first-in-class injectable, allergen-specific therapeutic for peanut allergy, currently in a Phase 1 clinical trial called ACCELERATE Peanut, which has completed enrollment and dosing. The clinical pipeline includes multiple food allergy programs targeting peanut (94% through Phase 1), a second allergy program (50% through IND-enabling), a third allergy program (25% through lead selection), and an atopic dermatitis program (12% through discovery). IgGenix is also conducting Institutional Review Board-approved observational studies across the United States, with research spanning food allergies including alpha-gal syndrome, egg, fish, milk, peanut, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat, as well as environmental allergies including cat, dog, dust, mold, and pollen. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in South San Francisco, California, IgGenix has raised approximately $75 million in Series B funding from investors including Alexandria, Lilly, Khosla Ventures, AllerFund, ShangBay Capital, Global Brain, and SBI Investment. Scientific co-founders include Stephen Quake from Stanford University and Kari Nadeau from Harvard School of Public Health.
