Innatera is a semiconductor company developing neuromorphic microprocessors that use spiking neural networks to deliver ultra-low-power, brain-inspired computing for edge devices. The company’s flagship product, Pulsar, is the world’s first mass-market neuromorphic microcontroller for the sensor edge, combining a spiking compute fabric (analog and digital), a RISC-V CPU subsystem, a CNN accelerator, on-chip FFT acceleration, and multiple sensor interfaces (ADC, QSPI, UART, I2S, I2C, CPI, PDM) on a single chip. Pulsar processes information as discrete events, mirroring how biological neurons communicate, enabling real-time intelligence that reacts only to meaningful signals with minimal compute and power consumption. The technology targets consumer electronics, IoT and smart home, industrial monitoring, wearables, intelligent sensor modules, and robotics applications. Innatera also offers the Talamo SDK for developers. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Rijswijk, Netherlands, the company has raised approximately $43.3 million in Series A funding.
