Interstellar

Interstellar (YueChuanZhe) is China's first commercial manned aerospace technology company, integrating reusable spacecraft development with space tourism operations. The company is developing the CYZ1 suborbital manned spacecraft with 99% reusability, push-style self-escape capability, capacity for up to 7 crew members, and a 25-cubic-meter cabin space. The spacecraft features 1.2m x 1m windows and achieves 100-meter landing precision. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Beijing, China, the company has raised approximately $14.7M in Series A funding. Interstellar aims to achieve its first suborbital flight around 2028, opening a new era of affordable, regular civilian space access. The company differentiates itself as China's answer to SpaceX Dragon, with its spacecraft design having passed feasibility review by national aerospace experts and entered the engineering development phase in November 2024.
