Jolt Solutions develops and manufactures advanced electrodes using its proprietary SPARKFUZE coating process, serving the green hydrogen, chlor-alkali, and industrial electrochemical sectors. The SPARKFUZE process is a transformative electrode coating technology that is more durable with over 10 years lifespan, more energy efficient, and lower cost than conventional electrodes, while being easy to integrate using customers' existing compounds. The coating process operates at 180 degrees Celsius with a single coating layer applied in under one minute, reducing CO2 emissions by over 75%. For green hydrogen production, Jolt provides PGM-free and low-PGM anodes and cathodes for alkaline water electrolysis (AWE) and anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolysers, with SPARKFUZE already deployed in commercial stacks producing electrodes up to 5 square meters. For chlorine and chlor-alkali applications, the company serves pool chlorination, industrial electrochlorination, marine applications, disinfectant solutions, and chlor-alkali production. For oxygen and industrial applications, electrodes are used in galvanizing, electrowinning, zinc plating, wastewater treatment, and cathodic protection. Jolt operates a research center and fulfillment center in Barcelona capable of manufacturing tens of thousands of square meters of electrodes, prototyping custom electrodes for deployment near customer production sites.
