The company's acceleration technology combines two-dimensional parallelization with lock-free programming to deliver a flexible and efficient inference engine achieving up to 4x lower latency, 10x higher throughput, and 50% reduced power consumption compared to conventional solutions. An autotuning tool optimizes AI inference for various constraints, while a unified API eliminates processor lock-in, enabling flexibility and improved performance across hardware platforms. Klepsydra offers three product editions: Klepsydra AI for general edge AI applications with broad compatibility across edge computers and operating systems; Klepsydra AI Space Edition, ECSS-qualified by ESA for space applications supporting radiation-hardened processors and the RTEMS space-qualified operating system for satellites and spacecraft; and Klepsydra AI Robotics Edition, featuring an advanced ROS2 Executor for autonomous robots and industrial automation. The software has been successfully tested in space through multiple projects. Key use cases include edge AI applications for automotive sensor data processing, IoT real-time applications including cybersecurity and surveillance; space applications for on-board Earth Observation data processing, space situational awareness, space debris removal, and lunar landing missions; and robotics applications for autonomous navigation and real-time deterministic performance. Demonstrations include AI-as-a-Service running three algorithms in parallel, lunar landing across multiple space processors, data aggregation for automotive sensors, asteroid pose determination, and space situational awareness on GR740.
