Leaf Space operates a global network of ground stations providing Ground Segment as a Service for satellite operators, enabling seamless connectivity, control, and scaling of space missions. The company's core service, Leaf Line, offers access to a fully owned and operated global network of over 40 interconnected ground stations through all-inclusive per-minute pricing, supporting command and control (TT&C) operations by receiving telemetry data and transmitting commands, as well as handling payload data reception and transmission. The network processes over 18,000 passes per month and supports more than 100 satellites, with over 50% of operations serving U.S. missions. Leaf Space also offers Leaf Key for dedicated ground stations and Leaf Hosting for hosted ground station services. The company's newest innovation, TreeNet, is an always-on connectivity solution that creates a continuous communication layer by linking satellites and ground infrastructure into a federated mesh network using TreeNodes, enabling satellites to communicate directly with each other and with the Leaf Line network. This addresses the limitation where most LEO satellites connect to the ground only about 10% of the time, enabling real-time data access and faster decision-making without waiting for scheduled contact windows. Leaf Space supports standard protocols including CCSDS and DVB-S2, with software-defined radio (SDR) capability for custom protocols, and provides 12 hours of continuous daily support with automated network operations. The company was named Scale-Up of the Year at the Astrospace Awards 2025.
