About

LifeLabs is a nanomaterials company developing and commercializing advanced thermal regulation textile technologies, born from Silicon Valley and built on patented research from Yi Cui's Lab at Stanford University. The company owns two patented fabric technologies: WarmLife and CoolLife. WarmLife uses a metallic nano-layer to reflect radiant body heat back to the skin, making it 30% warmer, lighter, and more packable than similar fabrics while utilizing significantly less material. It redirects 100% of body heat back to the skin through nano-metallic coating technology, providing +10°C (21°F) warmth compared to competitor products. CoolLife, made from sustainable polyethylene, is the world's first infrared-transparent fabric that efficiently releases body heat for instant and continuous cooling, maintaining a surface temperature 2°C lower than organic cotton with half the environmental impact of conventional materials. The cooling effect is permanent and never wears out. Both technologies are validated by lab and field tests and produced with global partners. LifeLabs provides flexible textile solutions for dynamic thermal comfort ranging from -65°C to +45°C for leading global brands. WarmLife has won 5 ISPO Awards for ISPO Textrends FW2027/28. The company has partnered with Shinhan for global expansion and is democratizing comfort and smart fabrics across various applications including golf and performance apparel. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, LifeLabs has raised $13.8M in seed funding from investors including Asia Green Fund.
