Marble Imaging

Marble Imaging builds satellite constellations for very high-resolution (VHR) Earth observation, aiming to become Europe's first commercial satellite constellation providing daily global VHR image data. The company plans to deploy 20 satellites by the end of 2028 carrying multispectral instruments capable of imaging in visible, near infrared, and short wave infrared spectra, enabling up to hourly revisits, with a long-term vision of scaling to 200 satellites for near-realtime global coverage. Marble Imaging offers AI-powered data processing and analytics including activity detection and monitoring for security-relevant locations, terrain and trafficability mapping for route planning, coastal vulnerability assessment combining EO imagery with socio-economic data, and aquaculture monitoring for certification processes. The company provides data through its own easy-to-use data portal (in development) and offers analysis-ready data products. Marble differentiates itself through its co-designed satellites incorporating high-performance multispectral payloads, new propulsion and laser downlink technologies, and onboard data processing capabilities, as well as its strong partnerships with European space agencies and commercial partners including Reflex Aerospace, Scanway, Safran Reosc, and Rovsing. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Bremen, Germany, Marble Imaging has raised approximately $6.1 million in an oversubscribed Seed round backed by HTGF, Bab-Bremen, Oslo Venture Company, nwk northwest, Auxxo, SpaceFounders, Lightfield Equity, and Sentris Capital.
