About
Neurolief is a developer of a wearable neuromodulation platform technology for brain stimulation, with an FDA-approved product called Proliv Rx. The Proliv Rx System provides focal external Combined Occipital and Trigeminal Afferent Stimulation (eCOT-AS) treatment as an adjunctive therapy for Major Depressive Disorder in adults who failed to achieve satisfactory improvement from at least one previous antidepressant medication. It is the only at-home brain neuromodulation therapy available for this patient population, delivered as a prescription-only device for use at home or in clinic. The treatment features a structured 8-16 week program with physician oversight, continuous adherence and symptom tracking, and no additional clinic equipment or staffing requirements. Clinical outcomes include 87% demonstrated improvement in depression severity, 96% full adherence to treatment protocol, and an estimated 35,000 dollars in annual savings per patient through reduced escalation to in-clinic neuromodulation, emergency room visits, and inpatient utilization. Proliv Rx serves health systems, VA VISNs and veterans, clinicians, and patients and families. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Herzliya, Israel, Neurolief has raised approximately 11 million at the Series A stage with investors including Terra Venture Partners, Brainsway, KT Squared, and Champel Capital.
