NewOrbit Space engineers very-low Earth orbit (VLEO) satellites that operate at one-third the altitude of conventional satellites, redefining capabilities in Earth observation, connectivity, and weather forecasting. Its NEO-1 satellite features tailor-made attitude control, cutting-edge materials, and a proprietary propulsion system designed to sustain very-low Earth orbital flight for up to five years. Operating closer to Earth enables higher resolution imagery previously accessible only through drones, direct-to-device satellite-to-phone services rivaling terrestrial bandwidth, and more precise weather forecasting through access to new atmospheric data layers. The satellites are designed to be debris-free, vanishing within a month of decommissioning to keep space clean and safeguard orbital sustainability.
