About

Noble Gas Systems manufactures conformable high-pressure gas storage and delivery systems for compressed gases including hydrogen, natural gas, air, oxygen, and nitrogen. The company's conformable tank technology addresses the storage challenge in zero-emission transportation by efficiently and safely storing compressed hydrogen fuel onboard vehicles without impacting passenger or cargo space. Unlike conventional cylindrical carbon fiber tanks, Noble Gas's non-carbon fiber conformable pressure vessels maximize stored energy density while fitting into available vehicle geometry. The company is the first producer of non-carbon fiber conformable gas storage systems to receive U.S. DOT authorization. Applications span light, medium, and heavy-duty transportation where regulations-compliant tanks provide the flexibility, strength, and safety required for automotive hydrogen fuel cell and compressed natural gas vehicles; aviation where lightweight modular tanks preserve cargo and passenger volume; bulk industrial storage for chemical, energy, and industrial facilities; and emerging markets including maritime, defense, and agriculture. The tanks offer lower capital and operating expenses, reduced weight, easier installation and maintenance, and higher gas storage capacity compared to conventional solutions. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Royal Oak, United States, Noble Gas Systems has raised approximately $9.2 million at the Series B stage from investors including AP Ventures, Air Liquide, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, America's Seed Fund, and the National Science Foundation.
