Orange Charger is a provider of electric vehicle charging solutions for residential multifamily properties. The company offers a complete ecosystem of chargers and software including Level 1 Outlet as the most scalable option, Level 2 Outlet with best power-to-cost ratio, Level 2 EVSE as the most powerful option, and Outlet Plus Kit with weather-resistant cover. The OrangeOS platform manages EV charging across property portfolios with automated payments, billing, reimbursements, and a mobile app for both residents and property managers. Orange outlets start at 600 dollars per outlet, enabling installation of four or more Orange chargers for the price of a single standard Level 2 charging station. The system uses Bluetooth with proprietary mesh technology, eliminating WiFi or cell signal requirements and networking costs. The 120V and 240V outlets are installable by any certified electrician with zero maintenance contracts. Level 2 outlets can charge a car up to 40 miles in three hours and up to 150 miles overnight, providing one outlet for every resident without the need for midnight car-moving. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Redwood City, United States, Orange Charger has raised approximately 17.8 million at the Seed stage with investors including Baukunst, Munich Re, Climactic, Crow Holdings, Lincoln Property Company, Spacecadet, and Intelis Capital.
