Overwatch Imaging develops AI-driven autonomous intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) sensor systems and software for airborne missions, delivering real-time situational awareness, rapid target acquisition, and actionable intelligence at the tactical edge. The company offers two product lines: Smart Sensors (purpose-built, high-resolution multispectral imaging systems including PT and TK series sensors designed for precise, rapid, large-area image intelligence across ISR, search, emergency response, and mapping missions) and ASO (Automated Sensor Operator) software, which provides edge-based AI-enabled autonomy for ISR workflows including autonomous wide-area search, detection, mapping, sensor steering, data collection, object detection, and intelligence reporting. ASO is available both as embedded software within Overwatch Smart Sensors and as a software upgrade that augments existing EO/IR video gimbals with autonomous capabilities. Overwatch Imaging serves five mission areas: Defense and Tactical ISR (scalable sensor autonomy as a force multiplier with integration into existing C2 architectures), Maritime ISR (AI-powered search, detection, tracking, AIS signal fusion, day/night operations, STANAG compliance), Wildfire and Emergency Response (full-scale multispectral maps, hotspot detection, fire perimeter creation, damage assessment in a single autonomous workflow, actively deployed by response agencies worldwide), Inspection and Mapping (multispectral geospatial data products for energy, utilities, transportation, and natural resource assets with real-time edge processing), and Airborne Law Enforcement (wide-area search and detection, overwatch, and incident mapping). Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Hood River, Oregon, Overwatch Imaging has raised $6.5 million in a Series A round backed by Tenax, Squadra Ventures, SEMCAP, Elevate Capital, Edo Capital, Portland Seed Fund, and NTC Group.
