About

Qedma develops quantum error mitigation and correction software that enhances the performance of quantum computers, aiming to become the operating system layer for the quantum computing ecosystem. The company's flagship product, QESEM (Quantum Error Suppression and Error Mitigation), transforms algorithms designed for error-free quantum computers into ones that can be executed with high accuracy on today's noisy quantum hardware. QESEM provides detailed and efficient characterization for noisy quantum processing units (QPUs), error mitigation for any algorithm, top-notch speed-accuracy tradeoffs, enabling maximal quantum circuit volumes, reliability verification and stability, high accuracy results from noisy devices, and cross-platform solutions that integrate easily into existing hardware across all quantum computing platforms. Qedma's error mitigation software is available within IBM's Qiskit Functions, making it accessible to the IBM quantum ecosystem. The company's team is led by CSO Professor Dorit Aharonov and CTO Professor Netanel Lindner, internationally renowned figures in quantum computing and quantum many-body physics, with a research and development team comprising leading quantum computing researchers and software engineers from Israel's premier technology firms and defense forces technology units. Qedma differentiates itself through its cross-platform approach, working across all quantum computing hardware modalities rather than being tied to a specific qubit technology. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, Qedma has raised approximately $30.7 million in a Series A round backed by IBM, Glilot Capital Partners, TPY Capital, Korea Investment Holdings, and Q Fund.
