About

Radix develops a full-stack Web3 and DeFi platform featuring an asset-oriented smart contract programming language (Scrypto), a digital asset engine (Radix Engine), the Cerberus consensus algorithm, and the Radix Wallet, designed to provide a radically better user and developer experience for building and using decentralized applications. The Radix tech stack comprises four layers: the Radix Wallet (a user experience enabling human-readable transactions that eliminate blind signing, with fully decentralized multi-factor account recovery replacing seed phrases), Scrypto and Radix Engine (the world's first Digital Asset Engine where asset and permission concepts are first-class language elements, making asset management intuitive and preventing costly DeFi hacks by design, with programmable dev royalties built in), the Cerberus consensus algorithm (a braided consensus mechanism designed for linear scalability and cross-shard atomic composability), and the underlying Radix network. The ecosystem features a growing world of dApps including decentralized exchanges, stablecoins, collateralized lending, perpetual futures, yield farming, NFTs, gaming, and money markets. Scrypto enables the fastest route from idea to production, with developers reporting the ability to build and submit dApps in days rather than weeks, and security by default through the Radix Engine's asset-oriented architecture. The platform supports the RADIX token and provides developer resources including Scrypto 101 courses, technical documentation, developer hub, and a knowledge base. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in the Channel Islands, Radix has raised $14.1 million in a Series A round backed by DWF Labs, LocalGlobe, Xsquared Ventures, Extrawatts, Hash Ventures, Maven 11, SVT Ventures, and Meta Deposit Fund.
