RanMarine Technology develops autonomous aquatic robots designed for waste removal, algae control, and water quality monitoring in ports, marinas, canals, and inland waterways. Its product fleet includes the WasteShark, an agile waste collector; WasteShark+ Pro with LiDAR-guided autonomous navigation; MegaShark for industrial-scale cleanup; and CyanoShark, specialized for removing harmful blue-green algae blooms. The vessels operate as smart electric drones on GPS waypoint patrol paths, collecting over 500 kg of debris per day per vessel. The RanMarine Connect platform provides real-time water quality data capture including pH, temperature, and depth, along with fleet management capabilities. Deployed globally across four continents, the fleet has collected over 6 million liters of waste since 2016. The company serves municipalities, port authorities, facility managers, hotels, and corporate sustainability programs. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Rotterdam, Netherlands, the company operates at the Series A stage with backing from EIC Fund, Europa, Boundary, and PortXL.
