At the core of Samara's innovation is its patented MSAC (Modular Solar Array Control) technology, which uses actuators embedded in the hinges of deployable solar panels to provide 3-axis attitude control and active jitter cancellation, bringing James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) pointing precision to the commercial LEO market. Unlike traditional reaction wheels, MSAC has no wheels that shake and no bearings to wear out, with virtually no added mass.
