The platform's AI smoke cameras detect smoke at 50+ kilometer range day or night, while gas sensors can smell smoke before it becomes visible, and satellite integration provides bird's-eye monitoring of wildfire zones. SenseNet integrates data from all these sources alongside weather stations into a unified management platform that offers incident management, alarms, and wildfire progress forecasts, delivering instant real-time notifications to fire crews, municipalities, and communities. The system processes hundreds of thousands of signals and images daily, identifying thousands of potential hazards and issuing verified early-fire alerts, enabling fire crews to be alerted and dispatched even before 911 calls come in. SenseNet has deployed over 4,000 sensors and cameras, monitors more than 300 million acres, and has detected over 8,000 fires early across 11 countries, serving communities, cities, and major industries. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, SenseNet has raised approximately $14 million at the Series A stage from investors including Stormbreaker, Thin Line Capital, Fusion Fund, Plaza Ventures, FOLD36, and B Current.
