About

Sereact develops Physical AI software powered by its Cortex Vision Language Action Model (VLAM) that gives industrial robots real autonomy, enabling any robot to pick, pack, sort, and handle inventory without manual programming or retraining. Trained on over 500 million real-world production picks, Cortex is a single production model that powers picking, placing, sorting, and inspection across thousands of SKUs with zero-shot handling of new items. The platform comprises five core modules: Lens (real-time edge vision for inventory awareness, damage detection, anomaly detection, and packaging verification), Robotic Picking (autonomous picking across any robotic platform), Putwall Automation (high-speed sortation for batch picking and returns), Humanoids (embodied AI for human-like dexterity across changing tasks), and Returns Handling (automated inspection and sorting of returns). Sereact supports zero-shot adaptation across standard 6-axis and humanoid architectures for deployment in brownfield sites, with installations completing in a single day. The company reports 99.9% uptime, 98%+ first-attempt pick success, peak throughput above 650 UPH, and remote support interventions of approximately 1 per 53,000 picks. Each robot replaces 3 to 4.5 FTE depending on shift pattern, with customers saving up to 111,000 euros per month. Sereact has 50+ deployments across five continents with 100+ live systems in Europe and the US, serving customers including Monta, Bol, Active Ants, Daimler Truck, OPO Oeschger, and MS Direct. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, Sereact has raised $150 million in a Series B round backed by Headline, Creandum, Point Nine, Air Street Capital, Bullhound Capital, Felix Capital, Daphni, Zalando, and Gruendermotor.
