Skynopy operates an end-to-end ground station as a service for satellite communications, bringing the simplicity of mobile connectivity to satellite operations through a hybrid ground station network. The platform combines a timeshared antenna system with Skynopy's proprietary ground stations, orchestrated through a unified platform with virtualized modem technology that provides a single API for accessing ground networks. Skynopy supports the full satellite mission lifecycle: pre-mission services include onboard radio and antenna selection, ground station network optimization, and modulation and coding optimization; integration and testing services provide pre-integrated advanced modulations and support for satellite-to-ground testing; and on-orbit operations offer access to the global ground network with end-to-end data sovereignty from satellite to cloud. The company delivers 2x more data volume, improved data latency and revisit times, and claims to save 10 months of RF testing and integration while halving the price per data or doubling data volume for the same cost. Skynopy operates 18 ground sites globally with 10+ satellites operated, and partners with Airbus, Eutelsat, CNES, ESA, and U-Space. Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Paris, France, Skynopy has raised approximately $20.7 million in a Seed round backed by Heartcore Capital, Kima Ventures, Better Angle, Bpifrance, Alven, Omnes Capital, Expansion, and SpaceFounders.
