STABL Energy is a provider of battery storage systems that use second-life batteries from electric vehicles for industrial and commercial energy solutions. The company unique modular multi-level converter (MMC) inverter technology allows integration of battery modules with varying states of health and from different manufacturers into a single storage system, with 36x redundancy and zero downtime. STABL modules automatically recognize and isolate deviating battery modules without shutting down the entire system, achieving a certified battery efficiency of 99.8% for second-chance modules and reducing efficiency losses by up to 70% compared to conventional models. The systems support applications including self-consumption optimization, peak shaving and atypical grid usage, and dynamic electricity tariffs with intraday and algorithmic trading. STABL won the pv magazine Award 2025 in the BESS category and serves industries including manufacturing, agriculture, real estate, and charging infrastructure. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Germany, the company has raised approximately 1.7 million in a Series A round with investors including EIC Fund, UVC Partners, Nordic Alpha Partners, and Energie 360.
