Stride Labs operates a multichain liquid staking platform built on the Cosmos ecosystem, enabling users to stake tokens from any IBC-compatible blockchain and receive liquid staked tokens (stTokens) in return. These stTokens accrue staking rewards in real-time while remaining transferable and usable across DeFi applications, allowing users to trade, lend, or provide liquidity without locking their assets. The platform supports 17 tokens including TIA, ATOM, DYDX, OSMO, and DYM, with a total value locked across multiple chains. Stride employs non-rebasing token mechanics, meaning stTokens gradually appreciate against the underlying staked token. Security features include ten completed audits from firms like Informal Systems, Oak Security, and Certik, as well as interchain security from Cosmos Hub providing approximately three billion dollars in economic security. The protocol diverts ten percent of staking rewards, with 8.5 points going to staked STRD token holders and 1.5 points to staked ATOM. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in New York City, Stride Labs has raised $10.7 million in seed funding from investors including Pantera Capital, Distributed Global, and 1confirmation.
