About

Grapheal is a developer of graphene-based flexible sensors and printed electronics for healthcare, environmental monitoring, and industrial applications. The company masters the entire value chain from synthesis of high-quality monolayer graphene to digital data analysis, producing sensors that are soft, flexible, transparent, biocompatible, and wirelessly connected via NFC and RFID protocols. Its product portfolio includes Polygraph transparent conducting films for optoelectronics, Graphsensor RFID UHF gas and water sensors for environmental monitoring, TestNpass digital test strips for point-of-care diagnostics, and GraphSkin smart bandages for continuous wound healing monitoring. Grapheal's patented technology, backed by 22+ patents, is expected to reduce sensor production costs by 10x and carbon footprint by 5x compared to silicon-based sensors. The company serves agri-food, renewable energy, security, sports and wellness, veterinary, and healthcare industries. Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from CNRS Néel Institute and headquartered in Grenoble, France, Grapheal has raised Seed funding from investors including EIT Health, Novalis Biotech, Bpifrance, and Linksium.
