Terra One is a technology company that develops AI-driven battery storage solutions for electrical grid stabilization across Europe. The company builds and operates large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) with proprietary AI models that autonomously trade on European power exchanges and balancing energy markets through a self-developed automated trading platform. Terra One manages the entire project lifecycle internally, from site acquisition and construction to energy trading and asset management, with projects ranging from 15 to 1000 MW capacity. The battery storage systems provide real-time grid stabilization, peak shaving, bottleneck management, and renewable energy integration. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Berlin, Germany, Terra One has raised approximately $7.5 million in Seed funding from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, PT1, 468 Capital, Hedosophia, neosfer, and Aviva Investors.
