About

TerraClear provides AI-augmented farming solutions that use machine vision, edge compute, and mission planning to bridge the gap between what is happening in fields and what farmers do next. The company platform follows a Sense-Decide-Act approach: using robotics to collect ultra-high resolution imagery across entire fields, applying AI models with edge compute to produce prescriptions in near real-time, and sending mission plans to teams and equipment to maximize results. TerraClear offers two primary solutions available now. Rock Management uses AI-powered mapping to deliver rock size, density, location, and optimal removal path across every acre, enabling farmers to find more rocks, reduce pick time by a third, and track progress, achieving 3x more productivity and 3x more rocks identified with over 3 million rocks found. Weed Management uses AI-driven vision to identify weed species, density, and chemical effectiveness scores across fields, detecting weeds at 1/4 inch and above with real-time image results, achieving up to 80% increase in chemical effectiveness. The company also develops TerraScout, an autonomous field scouting platform that collects and analyzes field data with no human in the field, covering 1,000+ acres per day in any field condition with real-time edge processing at 1mm GSD resolution, with early access in 2026. Future applications include plant phenotyping, pest and disease identification, and nutrition optimization. TerraClear serves farmers across multiple states with offices in Issaquah WA, Grangeville ID, Parkersburg IA, and Sioux Falls SD. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, TerraClear has raised approximately $53 million in Series A funding from investors including Madrona. The company employs approximately 50 people and is recognized as a minicorn.
