The platform provides three core safety functions: comrade aid, which identifies and dispatches first responders within a 2-kilometer radius; automatic accident detection using device sensors and timers that trigger will-independent alarms; and manual emergency calling with precise location transmission. Uepaa includes a 24/7 certified alarm center that handles 85% of false alarms and supports targeted intervention for genuine emergencies, along with an EHS safety dashboard providing monthly usage reports. The app is multilingual in English, German, French, and Italian, and supports international rescue operations through the International Assistance Group. Uepaa serves over 250 corporate clients and 120,000 users across Europe, including SBB, Siemens, DB Schencker, Axpo, and Swissgrid. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, Uepaa has raised $5.1 million in Series B funding from investors including Zurcher Kantonalbank, Verve Ventures, Swisscom Ventures, and Venture Kick.
