UNIGRID manufactures ultra-safe sodium-ion batteries using proprietary Sodium Chromium Oxide (NCO) technology, offering zero fire risk by design, 30,000+ cycles at 80% retention, operation from -40 to 60 degrees Celsius without HVAC, and pulse discharge up to 30C. The company's NCO technology delivers significantly longer lifespan than LFP batteries (3,000-4,000 cycles), making batteries a 25-year asset rather than a replacement cycle. UNIGRID's product lineup includes Na+ Fleet (12V starter battery), Na+ Module (BMS-less rack module), Na+ Casa (residential energy storage), and Na+ Cleo (DC rack system), serving electric vehicles, industrial starters, commercial, and grid-scale energy storage. All batteries are UN38.3 and UL 9540A certified at the cell level with no fire hazards during use, transportation, or storage, enabling indoor installations. The company has shipped its first sodium-ion residential batteries and is targeting AI data center power challenges. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in San Diego, United States, the company has raised approximately $12 million at the Series A stage.
