About

Vayudh develops tactical and commercial unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems for India's defense forces, providing end-to-end indigenous drone solutions with zero foreign dependency across hardware, software, and AI. The company's flagship product ATRI is India's first nano surveillance drone (sub-250g) designed for precision reconnaissance operations, featuring a 2km range, day-and-night ISR capabilities, AES-256 encryption, battle damage assessment, route and point reconnaissance, and pre-deployment reconnaissance. ATRI can operate as a standalone system or be deployed for scanning infiltration and exfiltration routes. Vayudh demonstrated India's first tactical drone swarm at Army Day 2019, flying a coordinated 10-drone swarm for 45 minutes under one command structure. The company won the iDEX Challenge in 2023 to build India's smallest surveillance drone for specialized units in high-intensity environments. Vayudh's vertically integrated ecosystem includes VayuSim (VR-based UAV simulator for multi-terrain training), Vayudh GCS (indigenous tablet-based ground control station), and BotLab Store (made-in-India drone components including flight controllers, ESCs, GPS modules, and ELTS receivers). All systems feature in-house PCB design, custom electronics, proprietary flight management software, and field testing under extreme conditions including high-altitude deployment at Project Tawang. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Delhi, India, Vayudh has raised approximately $13.5 million at the Series B stage from investors including Dharana, Navam Capital, LetsVenture, CultAdvisors, FITT, and Florintree.
