About

Vemcon develops cloud-based machine control solutions for industrial automation of mobile working machines, particularly excavators, graders, wheel loaders, and other construction, agricultural, and communal equipment. The company's product portfolio includes Vemcon CoPilot, which controls all tools and assistance systems across mixed fleets through a single display with automatic tool recognition that sets working mode, pressure, and flow rate correctly without manual input; Vemcon Joystick for machine control; Vemcon Terminal as the display interface; and Vemcon Connectivity for mobile tablet-based machine control. The CoPilot integrates 2D and 3D assistance systems, scales, and tool controls into one unified system, eliminating the need for separate island solutions. Vemcon also offers ToolTracker, which provides location tracking and operating hours for every machine in mixed fleets, enabling identification of unused equipment, prevention of tool loss, better service planning, and transparency across mixed fleets regardless of manufacturer. The platform is built on the MiC 4.0 (Machine Interface Control 4.0) standard, ensuring long-term compatibility with different equipment manufacturers. Vemcon serves three customer segments: construction contractors seeking to reduce costs and improve efficiency, attachment tool OEMs looking to digitalize their products, and excavator OEMs wanting to offer tool recognition and assistance systems without in-house development. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Haar (Munich), Germany, Vemcon has raised $6.5M in Series A funding from investors including ESA BIC Bavaria and Northern Germany, Vector, DeepTech and Climate Fonds, and Vector Venture Capital.
