About

VividQ develops computer-generated holography (CGH) technology for augmented and virtual reality displays, enabling native 3D visual experiences without traditional screens. The technology allows digital images to be displayed at multiple focal distances, enabling world-locked digital objects that remain in focus alongside real-world elements, eliminating focal rivalry and nausea. VividQ's holographic approach supports natural hand and gesture interactions without handheld controllers, with applications in AR/VR gaming and immersive experiences. The company offers products including CoReality AR, CoReality VR, and CoReality HUD for head-up displays. Originating from a breakthrough at the University of Cambridge Photonics Labs, VividQ has grown to a team of 40 experts. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Cambridge, United Kingdom, with offices in Palo Alto, Taipei, and Tokyo, VividQ has raised approximately $30 million in Series A funding from investors including APEX Ventures, Foresight Group, and UTokyo Innovation Platform.
