Voliro develops drone-enabled non-destructive testing (NDT) technology through its Voliro T aerial robotic platform, designed to inspect industrial assets faster, safer, and more cost-effectively than conventional methods. The drone features tiltable rotors that enable omnidirectional 360-degree mobility and stable contact interaction, applying up to 30N of force to structures for precise sensor measurements. It operates with automated flight modes and assisted autonomy, even in GPS-denied environments, and supports various sensor payloads through an open platform design. Voliro serves industries including oil and gas, chemicals, wind energy, cement and aggregate, mining, infrastructure, and power utilities, enabling inspections of storage tanks, flare stacks, powerline towers, and wind turbines while assets remain in service. The platform delivers 2.5x faster inspection processes compared to conventional methods, eliminating the need for scaffolding or climbers. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, Voliro has conducted operations across 17 countries with over 100 inspections per month.
