Wevr is an interactive studio that develops immersive experiences and spatial applications for various platforms including virtual reality, augmented reality, and location-based entertainment. The company collaborates with brands and creators to co-create interactive experiences, offering virtual reality experiences, cross-platform IP development, and a virtual studio and DevOps platform for real-time 3D development. Notable projects include The Blu, an underwater VR experience deployed at venues including the LA Natural History Museum and as Expedition Taiwan; Gnomes and Goblins in collaboration with Jon Favreau; a Harry Potter location-based VR experience; and Terracotta Warriors, an immersive experience exploring Emperor Qin Shi Huang mausoleum. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Los Angeles, Wevr has raised approximately $45 million through Series C funding from investors including HTC Corporation, Samsung Venture Investment, Digital Garage, AME Yahoo Ventures, and Boldstart Ventures.
